Parts Representative (Heavy Duty/Diesel) Opportunity Summary:

As a Parts Representative (Heavy Duty/Diesel), you are responsible for efficiently handling and controlling the parts business through proper inventory, record keeping, delivery, and reporting.

Job Duties:

  • Processing, pulling, and delivering or shipping parts to fulfill customer orders.
  • Assisting service shop and mobile technicians in identifying parts necessary for repairs.
  • Tracking daily use of parts and receiving orders.
  • Creating Purchase Orders (POs) for weekly stock orders and reporting to the manager.
  • Nurturing and maintaining relationships with the company's vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory readiness, warehouse organization, and cleanliness.
  • Ensuring shop and mobile trucks are properly stocked and removing obsolete parts as deemed necessary.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Strong knowledge of product lines, i.e., Detroit Diesel and Allison.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Forklift training.
